Workshop: Research meets Industry

The workshop is part of the DAAD project “Hochschulkooperationen mit den African Institutes for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) II – Systems Optimization for Sustainable Resources Utilization” led by Prof. Pu Li (Process Optimization Group of Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany) in collaboration with the German Research Chair Prof. Abebe Geletu at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS Rwanda).

Former PhD candidates/staff members of the Department of Process Optimization who are now working in industry will give a short talk about their PhD thesis and their current work in industry. Interesting practical problems from industry and their possible solutions will be discussed.
